CSX-pansion: Due in large part to the great success of the inaugural CSX Cybersecurity Nexus North America (October 2015 in Washington DC) ISACA will be hosting three CSX events in the fall of 2016 (Las Vegas, London and Singapore). Because of the busy fall event schedule, ISACA’s EuroCACS conference will be held in the spring (30 May-1 June 2016) in Dublin. Find info on all ISACA events here.

Speaking Opportunity: CeBIT 2016, which will take place from 14 – 16 March is now accepting speaker proposals.  The event describes its content as providing a “360-degree panoramic view of the digital world.”  Submit speaker/topics ideas for either the Center, Expert or Open stages by December 31.  Guidelines may be found here.

Lunchtime Learning:  Quartz Next Billion held its New York forum on Monday, discussing how the next billion people to come online for the first time, largely on mobile phones, will affect business and society. Sessions included Adapted Internet for the next billion; Empathy facilitated through VR technology; and The ethics of disruption. Watch here.

Coming Up Next: Not many events are happening next week due to the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S., but a few that will take place are: Harvard Business School Tech Conference (formerly known as Cyberposium); 1st European Urban Green Infrastructure Conference; EyeforTravel’s Smart Travel Analytics & RM and Online Marketing Strategies for Travel Europe.
