At the time, they stated that they would be utilizing their joint capabilities “to create an integrated event, digital (Telecoms.com & Light Reading) and analyst offering (Ovum & Heavy Reading) that will act as a one stop platform” for sponsors and telecom operators interested in an integrated educational message.” The organization has recently published its 2017 calendar of events.  Conferences may be found through the online search tool.

Learning about Machine Learning: Extension Media announced that it will launch a Machine Learning Developers Conference to be co-located with IOT DevCon.  The new event will take place from 26 – 27 April at the Santa Clara Convention Center and will address the “technical challenges and business opportunities of machine learning and artificial intelligence in embedded systems.” While IoT DevCon will continue to provide practical training for IoT application developers, Machine Learning DevCon will explore the hardware and software challenges of “building up and debugging these complex machine learning and artificial intelligence systems.” Learn more about the conference here.

Smart Technology Smarts: Remote Magazine has also announced a new event, which will be co-located with the 2017 Internet of Things North America Conference, happening in Chicago from 29 – 30 March. The new event, Connected Cities USA will cover smart technologies that are helping cities modernize their infrastructure projects quickly and more efficiently, making “drastic changes to modernize communities.” According to the event announcement, “employing intelligent IoT based technologies in these areas will allow for more efficient use of resources, organic expansion via sustainable cities, high technology job creation, reduced pollution, and a higher standard of living for residents.” For more detail on the new event, click here.
