Much-Needed Mindfulness: The team behind Wisdom 2.0 Conference will be bringing a “one-of-a-kind gathering” to New York City from 8 – 9 October. The Mindfulness in America Conference, co-hosted by Anderson Cooper and Soren Gordhamer, will bring together leaders from education, healthcare, politics, etc., “to explore living with greater presence and connection in an increasingly fast-paced world.” Regular updates will be added to the Wisdom2Conference Facebook page.
Planting a Flag(ship) event: Argyle Executive Forum will debut its new, flagship, 2017 Leadership in Digital Marketing Forum in New York City on Thursday 12 October 2017. They plan on this being their largest event of the year with 350-400 attendees who will be Chief Marketing Officers, Chief Digital Officers, as well as Marketing, Brand Strategy, Digital, and Analytics VPs and Directors in a leadership role.
ZDC in NYC: After a successful launch in Dublin earlier this year, Zero Day Con, in partnership with Strategic Cyber Ventures, is coming to the US this fall. On 26 October, the conference will bring together global experts to discuss security architectures and strategies for protecting brand reputation. The agenda is still being developed but additional details may be found here.
Speaking Opportunity: The J.D. Power will host its 12th annual Automotive Marketing Roundtable on 24 – 25 October in Las Vegas. They are now accepting speaker suggestions for both the main stage and breakout sessions. Specific themes and topics of interest may be found within the speaker submission guidelines. Make your suggestions before the 26 May CFP deadline!
Lunchtime Learning: In March of this year, World Forum Disrupt, kicked off its DigiPublish New York conference, where leading digital publishing executives shared case studies of innovative online initiatives they implemented within their organizations and best practices learned along the way. Coming up Next: Starting on Monday 8 May, the ASU + GSV Summit will gather the learning and talent innovation community in Salt Lake City to “elevate the dialogue around raising educational outcomes through scaled innovation.” In New York from 9 – 10 May, the Conference Board will host its 13th Annual Women’s Leadership Conference. This year’s theme is The Leadership Journey: Advancing Your Organization; Advancing Those Around You; Advancing Yourself. Also in New York next week, Digital Life Design (DLD) Conference returns with a diverse agenda. Sessions include: From Fake News to Strategic Disinformation; AI & Ethics; and the Future of Interspecies Communication. The North American Energy Markets Association (NAEMA) 2017 Spring Conference & Annual Meeting will bring energy traders and marketers from throughout North America to Ontario from 10 – 12 May. The conference will kick off with a tour of Ontario Power Generation’s Hydro Facilities.
