Protecting the Money: The Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) is a global cyber intelligence sharing community solely focused on financial services. They have added a new event to their line up with FinCyber Today. This virtual conference will focus on technologies and tools financial firms are using to protect against and recover from cyber incidents today. Scheduled for 3 November, FinCyber Today sessions will “follow-the-sun, opening in a Europe time-zone and concluding in a United States time-zone” so that participants can share knowledge about new tech and tactics across borders.  Tracks will include Cloud (Migration/compliance), Emerging Tech (AI, Quantum, 5G) and Global Intel (Threat hunting/ransomware).

One (C)Suite Deal: Bringing the C-Suite Chief Executive Group (CEG), a community for America’s C-Suite leaders and corporate directors, has acquired The CFO Leadership Council, a professional association dedicated to empowering senior financial executives. With nearly 2,000 members across the United States the acquisition adds to CEG’s fast-growing roster of C-Suite communities. In 2021, CEG launched StrategicCFO360, StrategicCIO360 and StrategicCHRO360 to expand its reach. Each community has newsletters, live events, discussion groups and networking opportunities.  According to Executive Chairman of the Chief Executive Group Wayne Cooper, “This partnership will allow us to better serve CFOs everywhere, uniting the power of their CFO chapters with the strength of our peer networks, editorial content and historical focus on leadership training, development and support.”

Speaking Opportunity: ISACA North America has opened its call for speakers for 2022. The event will be held from 4 – 6 May in New Orleans, LA and virtually.
