Beaches & Bitcoin: SALT (SkyBridge Alternatives) Conference, the global thought leadership and networking forum encompassing finance, technology and geopolitics, has teamed up with cryptocurrency exchange FTX to host Crypto Bahamas. This conference will take place next month (26-29 April) and will showcase collaboration among leaders in the crypto and traditional finance industry. According to the conference organizers, “The event will feature four days of discussion and unique experiences in The Bahamas,” covering Bitcoin, DeFi, NFTs, regulation, web3, gaming and more. Attendance is by-invitation-only so all participants must apply to attend.

Investing in Security: Private equity firm Crosspoint Capital Partners announced last week that they acquired a significant interest in the RSA Conference, making it a standalone, independent business. (Existing RSA Security sponsors Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. and Symphony Technology Group, will also invest in this new company.) RSA Conference, which will be held in San Francisco from 6 – 9 June, has become the go-to event for the cybersecurity community. According to last week’s announcement, “The investment from Crosspoint Capital, Clearlake and STG will further enhance the knowledge sharing, networking, experience, and value to the RSA Conference community.”

Speaking Opportunity: The Women|Future Conference was envisioned as a program to elevate, educate, and empower professional women around the world. In 2022, the conference will run 8-10 November as a virtual event focused on topics such as entrepreneurship, marketing, personal development, the future of work, technology, and workplace diversity. To suggest a speaker for the agenda, submit now through 13 May. Lunchtime Learning: In January, Protocol hosted an online event on tech regulation.
