Healthcare Half-day: To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the MIT Platform Strategy Summit (14 July; Cambridge) – which gathers a global community of executives and academics to explore the economics and management of platform-centered markets, and is produced as part of MIT’s Initiative on the Digital Economy – is adding an extra half day event on 13 July focused on healthcare. Dubbed The Platform Revolution Comes to Healthcare: A Deep Dive at the 2022 MIT Platform Strategy Summit, the extra programming was created in response to audience demand for increased networking and engagement, as well as attendee interest in the critical topic of the healthcare focused content.

Doing Deals in Dublin: This fall, the Financial Times and The Next Web will join forces to bring a new annual event to Dublin. Financial Times/TNW Dublin Conference will be held on 22 – 23 November and will cover 7 main topic areas: Startups & growth; Sustainable technology; Crypto & fintech; Sports tech; Web3 world; EVs & Mobility; & Infosec. They expect 2,000 entrepreneurs, enterprise executives, investors, and media to attend this inaugural gathering. More information to come over the next month!

Submission Opportunity: ONUG Fall 2022, hosted by Raytheon Technologies, will take place in New York City, 19-20 October at Center415 in the heart of Manhattan. Coming Up Next Week: Presented by the Aspen Institute in partnership with NBC Universal, the Aspen Ideas Festival (25 June – 1 July) gathers leaders from around the globe and across many disciplines to present and discuss the ideas and issues that both shape our lives and challenge our times. The 2022 Festival will explore six substantive themes: Heat, Money, Trust, Connection, Power, Beauty. Kicking off 26 June, the International Society for Technology in Education/ISTE Annual Conference & Expo will offer both in-person content live and streamed from New Orleans, as well as online content from remote presenters. ISTE 2022 will operate under the theme “Empowering Educators. Elevating Equity.” WEBIT’s Impact Forum also offers a hybrid format this year, with a gathering at Sofia Tech Park in Bulgaria on 28 June and virtual programming encompassing such tracks as society architects, economic sustainers, and health innovators from 29 June – 1 July. Finally, the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams/FIRST Conference runs 26 June – 1 July at Convention Centre Dublin. FIRST is an is an international not-for-profit organization bringing together a variety of security and incident response teams, and 2022 represents their 34th annual convening.
