Learn About Speaker Strategies

Deep in Miami: eMerge Americas announced last week it will launch the first ever eMerge Deep Tech Summit in 2026, a joint venture with Emerging Tech Events. This new program will run 22-24 April, integrated into the broader framework of the eMerge Americas Conference, and bring more than 2,000 tech leaders, researchers, and engineers to the Miami Beach Convention Center. Attendees can expect two days of content focused on transformative breakthroughs in quantum computing, post quantum security, and AI strategy, architecture, and engineering. “We believe deep tech is the next great wave of global transformation,” said Melissa Medina, CEO of eMerge Americas. “This summit is our response to that momentum.”

Welcome to the Emerald City: Emerald was thrilled to announce the acquisition of Generis Group, a leader in B2B executive summits, enabling high-impact peer-to-peer connections. Generis hosts 11 events across the US and 6 in Europe annually across key verticals, including supply chain, manufacturing, packaging, digital transformation and life sciences. With this acquisition, Emerald will now host more than 50 executive summits annually – underscoring the strength, scale, and value of their offering.

AGENTIC at CES: The Team behind Agentic Conference has expanded its footprint. It will host CES AI House 2026 in the Las Vegas Convention Center North Hall, adjacent to the AI EXPO Floor. The new gathering will be on 6 January. That week, the Agentic team is also supporting the CES Foundry activation at the Fountain Bleau and hosting a premium AI Workshop series at CES on 9 January.

Submission Opportunity: MWC26 Barcelona will return to the Fira Gran Via from 2 – 5 March 2026 focusing on the technologies, ideas and people powering the next wave of innovation. The GSMA, which organizes the conference, is looking for speakers who can address one of the six themes that will frame the 2026 programme. These include Intelligent infrastructure (the tech transforming connectivity from a cost center into a strategic value platform); Connect AI (the tech that is driving the shift towards an AI Native Telco); AI 4 the Enterprise (sector-specific intelligence that boosts productivity); AI Nexus (how to balance innovation, ethics and human collaboration in next gen tech); Tech4All (how to ensure everyone shares in the economic and social dividends of the digital world); and Game Changers (new technologies poised to redraw industry boundaries). Got an idea? Act fast! The deadline to submit a speaker is 29 September!

Lunchtime Learning: DPW NYC 2025 marked the procurement and supply chain event organizer’s first major event in the U.S. and featured experts from companies like Estée Laude, the Clorox Company, Anthropic, and ServiceNow. Videos from both the NYC and the most recent DPW Amsterdam shows are now available to watch on the DPW YouTube site. Sessions covered topics like building resilient supply chains, decarbonizing procurement operation, procurement’s strategic roadmap for responsible AI adoption, and the future of sourcing. Dates for the next DPW events are 7-9 October (Amsterdam) and 3-4 June 2026 (NYC).

Coming Up Next Week: IFA Berlin, which officially gets underway 5 September and runs until Tuesday at Messe Berlin, is the largest consumer electronics trade fair in the world. (Fun fact: IFA stands for “Internationale Funkausstellung,” a.k.a. the Berlin Radio Show.) At INDUSTRY Conference, attendees from across the product space will gather 8-10 September at Cleveland’s historic Public Auditorium to hear best practices from leaders at companies like Atlassian, Carta, Peloton, and Warner Bros. Discovery. Fortune Brainstorm Tech runs 8-10 September in Park City, an invite-only gathering for leaders from Fortune 500 companies, top entrepreneurs in tech, and investors to explore how tech reshapes society. AI Infra Summit – which has evolved over the past seven years from a semiconductor conference into a full-stack AI infrastructure event – kicks off 9 September at the Santa Clara Convention Center. And on 10 September in New York, the Forbes Power Women’s Summit brings together “architects of power and progress who are rising to the occasion to shape our new way forward.”
