Conference News: GreenBiz Gets a View; Various Voices of Cerebral Valley; Speak at OWASP Global AppSec
Leaders in AI Goes North: The Leaders In AI Summit Series is an application-only B2B event series that welcomes applications from C-Suite executives, decision-makers, and AI experts from across the Fortune 2000. They have hosted gatherings in cities around the US for several years, with regular summits in New York, San Francisco, Dallas and alongside conferences such as Microsoft Ignite. For the first time in 2026 they will head north of the border with a Toronto Summit. The event will happen on 16 July at the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel and feature sessions on topics such as Agentic AI at Scale; The Human Layer of AI; Governance, Risk and Compliance; and The Future of Intelligence.
GreenBiz 27 Moving to San Diego: After years of growth in Phoenix, AZ Trellis, the conference group behind GreenBiz Conference is relocating this flagship event. GreenBiz 27 will happen at the beautiful Gaylord Pacific Resort in San Diego from 23-25 February, 2027. The conference team noted that the move will allow them to expand the layout and programming in a newly opened, state-of-the-art venue with sustainability at its core. And according to the announcement the “Sweeping views of the San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean to the west and San Miguel Mountains to the east create an inspiring waterfront setting where we can reset and reconnect amongst nature.”
Submission Opportunity: The OWASP® Foundation works to improve the security of software through its community-led open source software projects, hundreds of chapters worldwide, tens of thousands of members, and by hosting local and global conferences. They will host the next OWASP Global AppSec USA on 5 – 6 November in San Francisco and are currently seeking speaker/topic suggestions. Lunchtime Learning: The inaugural Cerebral Valley Voice Summit took place the first week of May, bringing together more than 200 founders, investors, and operators from around the Bay Area and beyond. Speakers included Bret Taylor, the co-founder of Sierra; Emergence Capital’s Jake Saper; a16z’s Olivia Moore; Lux Capital’s Grace Isford; OpenAI’s head of realtime AI Justin Uberti, Runway co-founder Anastasis Germanidis; and the founders of Abridge, Wispr Flow, Deepgram, Cartesia, and more. Coming Up Next Week: To celebrate 25 years of Fortune Brainstorm Tech, this year’s event returns to Aspen from 8-10 June and will feature visionary executives from companies like Anthropic, HP, Tubi, and XBOX. London Tech Week/LTW gets underway 8 June with official content stages that run through the 10th, as well as fringe programming that runs through Friday – all geared towards advancing innovation, collaboration, and growth in the tech industry. At ShopTalk Europe (9-11 June; Barcelona), the retail industry unites to “reimagine how tomorrow’s consumers will discover, shop, and buy, both in-store and online.” Web Summit Rio runs from 8-11 June at Rio Centro, while the International Economic Forum of the Americas/IEFA Conference of Montreal is held 8-10 June at Hotel Bonaventure. And on 8 June, Sustainable Brands Conference kicks off in San Diego to provide its attendees with “insight, tools, and connections to turn sustainability into a driver of real business value.”
