Scheduling conferences – whether you are planner or attendee – is difficult.  You have to work around holidays, executive schedules and (worst of all) other conferences.  If you accidentally schedule an event during the same week as another popular industry conference you risk losing attendees and quality speakers. Most seasoned conference organizations understand this and are able to work around these obstacles.

That is why I was so surprised to see my November calendar.  The first week of November 2015 contains more than 25 technology and leadership conferences. And that number only includes those that I am tracking for my executive speakers!

  • Fortune Global Forum
  • Forrester CIO-CMO Forum
  • Chief Digital Officer Global Forum
  • The Web Summit in Dublin
  • Forbes CMO Summit
  • Foursquare Conference
  • Financial Times Innovate Summit
  • Economist Global Agenda
  • MIT Technology Review EmTech Conference

All of the organizations producing the events above are known for stellar content and typically attract a strong contingent of senior-level attendees.  It will be interesting to learn which of the organizations are able to maintain this level of excellence despite the intense competition among attendees, sponsors and press.

Which conference will you be attending the first week of November?
