Learn About Speaker Strategies

Familiar NAMES: Executive Platforms is hosting a second addition of their North American Manufacturing Excellence Summit (NAMES) in 2027. Taking place October 13 – 15, 2027, at The Hotel Avalon in Atlanta, Georgia, this year will mark the inaugural Fall Edition. Demand for the spring summit has grown so strongly that one event a year was no longer enough to meet it. NAMES is an invitation-only, practitioner-led summit where senior manufacturing leaders share the real strategies, lessons and results behind their operations: operational excellence and continuous improvement, automation and AI on the plant floor, workforce and talent, quality, and building resilient, efficient production networks. It’s a closed-door, peer-to-peer setting, with no press and no vendor pitches on stage, so speakers can talk candidly about what is and isn’t working. Executive Platforms expects 400 attendees to participate in the October gathering.

Learn More at Women Who Code: The WomenWhoCode Summit & Dinner will return to New York from 7–9 June 2027 with two new elements. The summit will now include Longevity & Performance Workshops to explore “hormone health, menopause, peptides, nutrition, sleep, strength, and longevity to support long-term health and performance.” The event will also host the Content Creator Academy, which is described as a “Hands-on workshops in personal branding, video creation, audience growth, and AI-powered content tools for technical experts and business leaders.”

Submission Opportunity: Now through 12 November, submit to speak at SXSW London 2027, which returns to Shoreditch 24-29 May and builds on the legacy born over four decades ago in Austin. Looking to devise a stand-out session idea? The event organizers love to see proposals from founders, brands, creators, and journalists on topics that have not been heavily covered to date. Be sure to align with one of the SXSW London tracks. Once submissions close on the 12th, public voting opens and runs until 22 November.

Lunchtime Learning: CNBC just wrapped its eighth annual Technology Executive Council Summit last month in New York. This exclusive event gathers “top CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and tech leaders for two days of cutting-edge conversations on AI, cybersecurity, data governance, quantum mechanics, and the future of digital infrastructure.” The event packed a lot of great conversation into a full day of programming! Hear Nigel Vaz, Publicis Sapient CEO on safety and the importance of context when it comes to AI use; Campbell Brown, Forum AI Founder and CEO discusses factual accuracy and political bias in critical AI output; and Keia Cole, Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, Chief Digital Officer on how AI is changing the game.

Coming Up Next Week: Web Summit is back in Lisbon 9-12 November as one of the largest conferences worldwide exploring big ideas from the world of tech, business, and society. The Milken Institute Future of Health Summit gets underway 11 November in Washington, DC, offering its delegates the chance to confront the toughest challenges in health, including affordability and access, and identify opportunities for collaboration across sectors to transform health. This year MWC Doha (8-10 November) brings together leaders in 5G, AI, smart cities, and emerging technologies “accelerating MENA’s digital-first future and Qatar’s National Vision 2030.” At the third-annual Female Quotient/FQ AI Summit on 10 November, leaders across marketing, media, and technology will gather in NYC to unpack how trust and accountability intersect with AI tech and the creative business world. Meanwhile in San Francisco, Newcomers’ Cerebral Valley AI Summit is held 12 November for venture-backed founder, investors, and other leaders. Finally, communicators will meet at the Ragan Future of Communications Conference from 11-13 November in Austin to learn practical strategies and develop stronger leadership skills.
