ConferenceNotes: What I Learned this Week – November 6

CDX at CES: The creators of the Chief Digital Officer Global Forums will be brining the event to CES for the first time in 2016. The event will take place on January 6 as part of C-space in The Aria Resort.

Speaking Opportunity: Formerly known as the NCTA Cable Show, the NCTA Internet and Television Expo (INTX) has announced that it will be accepting technical paper abstracts for its 2016 Spring Technical Forum until December 14. This technology forum is presented by NCTA, CableLabs and SCTE.  INTX will take place from 16 – 18 May in Boston.  Speaker proposals must follow conference guidelines which can be found here.

Lunchtime Learning: Learn about Robots, AI and 10 ‘breakthrough technologies’ in the videos from this week’s MIT Technology Review’s EmTech Conference here.

Smart Machines: And speaking of MIT Technology Review, the organization has announced that its next event, EmTech Digital (23 – 24 May in San Francisco), will focus on how ‘smart machines will redefine your industry.’ The agenda will explore AI technologies and its impact as it moves ‘from lab to marketplace.’
