Ch-Ch-Changes: The Education Technology Industry Network of the SIIA has announced three major changes to its Education conference: 1) the event dates will now be 25 -27 July 2) the location will move from San Francisco to Denver and 3) the name will change from Education Industry Summit to Education Industry Symposium. So Happy Together: Informa Network Virtualization & SDN World show and the IIR Network Virtualization Forum will be merged to form one stand-alone show in Madrid in 2016. The event will take place from 31 May to 2 June and will cover the issues surrounding SDN & NFV deployments and technologies.

Speaking Opportunity:  Self-described as “the world’s largest gathering of public relations professionals”, the 2016 PRSA International Conference will take over the JW Marriott Indianapolis from 23 – 25 October. The event covers topics relevant to practitioners in all stages of their careers. PRSA will be accepting speaker proposals until Tuesday, 16 February through this online form.

Lunchtime Learning: This week concluded the World Economic Forum’s 46th annual meeting at Davos.  The 2016 theme, ‘Mastering the Fourth Industrial Revolution’ inspired conversations around how to respond to the “breakthrough technologies, demographic shifts and political transformations” affecting all aspects of society and the economy. You may want to devote a few lunches to these videos.
