RiskSec Part Two: In case you missed the initial announcement, SC Media, launched a new event platform called RiskSec in order to bring interactive exercises and insights to senior cybersecurity leaders and executives. DLD on Campus: The DLD team will be launching a brand-new event series: DLD Campus on 21 June. DLD Campus will highlight top-notch researchers, regional innovation leaders and hidden champions within universities and connect them to the international DLD network. The first event of this series will be hosted at the University of Bayreuth.

TV Gets Social: Based on feedback received during the popular Next TV Summit, NewBay Media has announced a new event – The Social TV Conference – which will take place on 12 June in New York as part of VIDWeek (Video Innovation Disruption week). Social TV will offer an “the latest from industry leaders with sessions on programming and talent, social media management tools, analytics and what’s coming on the product side to stoke the conversation around video content.”

Speaking Opportunity: Strata Data Conference returns to Singapore this year between 4 – 7 December. They are now accepting speaker proposals and are most interested in hearing “compelling data case studies, proven best practices, effective new analytic approaches, and exceptional skills.” The call for presenters will close on 20 June. Lunchtime Learning: Everybody wants to know what the Next Big Thing in tech will be. One way to find out is to ask the Chief Information Officers and Chief Executive Officers at the world’s most innovative companies to share their thoughts. Watch sessions from the Forbes CIO Summit for exactly this type of insight.  Speakers include Marc Benioff, Meg Whitman, and Tony Scott.

Coming up Next: Next week, a couple thousand “entrepreneurs, investors, hackers, and tech fans” will gather in New York at TechCrunch Disrupt to find out what’s new and next in technology.  In Las Vegas, the recently rebranded Interop ITX, will debut six conference tracks aimed to “help technology leaders keep up with challenges and drive their businesses forward.” One of the world’s largest and most comprehensive IOT conferences, Informa Internet of Things (IOT) World, will return to Silicon Valley on 16 May. The same day in Washington D.C., the Financial Industry Regulation Authority (FINRA) Annual Conference will discuss the “most timely compliance and regulatory topics.” And finally, more than 15,000 attendees will descend upon Amsterdam for The Next Web (TNW) Europe Conference.
