What happens in Vegas…: After an amazingly successful debut in 2016 Shoptalk has seen tremendous growth. So much so, that it expanded to Europe in 2017, hosting an event in Copenhagen last fall. But the creators of Shoptalk have decided that in 2018 they will follow that age-old wisdom, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” hosting only one event in the US, that will include speakers and stories from around the globe. Give me More Privacy!: On 29 March, following the Global privacy Summit in Washington DC, the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) will debut a brand-new Privacy Engineering Section. The inaugural Privacy Engineering Section Forum will gather like-minded IT-focused privacy professionals for a half day of targeted programming and networking.

Speaking Opportunity: New York City’s Largest Developer Conference & Expo, DeveloperWeek returns to the Big Apple from 18 – 20 June. 3,000 developers, devops pros, and executives will come together to learn about the latest trends in App Development, DevOps, Dev Management, and FinTech Development. Lunchtime Learning: RISE Conference, taking place in Hong Kong every summer, brings together leaders from “the world’s biggest companies with the world’s most exciting startups” to learn from each other.  In 2017, RISE welcomed 14,000+ people from 90 countries, including 240 speakers.
