Want some Incite info? Incite Group events are now Reuters Events, thanks to the latter’s acquisition of FC Business Intelligence (FCBI). Reuters Events will operate as part of the Reuters News division of Thomson Reuters. With its adherence to the Reuters Trust Principles and commitment to world-class journalism, the event producers anticipate increased media presence at each event. They also expect the transition to the new brand will continue for the first half of 2020. Speaker suggestions are currently being accepted for their Customer Service Summit (8-9 June 2020; San Diego) and Brand Marketing Summit (14-15 May 2020; San Diego).

Making Big Moves: Interop announced some big news this week. In 2020 they will be physically moving the conference from Vegas to Austin, TX, which has a vibrant tech community, where a considerable number of attendees hail from. They will also be moving the event from the spring to fall timeframe, holding the conference from 21 – 24 September.  Interop is one of the longest-running and last remaining independent events for Networking and IT Pros. Speaking Opportunity: Speaking of Interop, the conference has also opened a call for papers for the 2020 event. The mission of the event is to “highlight the best technologies and strategies IT professionals can use today to provide innovative, efficient and secure services that drive value within their organizations.” Therefore, they are seeking speakers and session ideas that align with that mission, specifically within these main topic areas Automation/IT Management, Cloud Environments, Collaboration, Data & Analytics, Data Center/Sustainability, DevOps, Hardware/Systems, Infrastructure, IoT, Managed Services, Network Automation, Networking, Security Storage, Strategy, Talent/Teams/ Tactics, and Wireless/Mobility. The Call for Speakers closes on 12 December.
