Electrification for All: Greenbiz has created a new online event from the VERGE conference and expo series which focuses on “how markets, technology and policy must work together to electrify everything — including transportation, buildings and industry — and clean the electric grid.” VERGE Electrify will take place from 25 – 26 May and will bring together more than 5,000 industry and sustainability decision makers as well as policy makers. Topics will include: The Future of Commercial Buildings; How Distributed Energy Will Help the Grid; Moving Beyond Pilots: How to Scale EV Infrastructure; How Does Green Hydrogen Fit into Electrifying Everything?

CHIME+HLTH=ViVE: The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) + HLTH are coming together to create a new event called ViVE. The ViVE event will take place from 6-9 March 2022 in Miami Beach and will be designed for digital health leaders and executives innovating across the spectrum of health and care. According to the official press release: “CHIME brings expertise in high-quality, peer-driven education and a global community of senior and executive digital health leaders, while HLTH draws digital changemakers and innovators from across the health ecosystem. ViVE will build on these strengths to create a setting built on relationships and respect; that fosters rapid problem solving and business growth and engenders collaboration between leaders with many different perspectives.” More information will become available over the coming months.

Speaking Opportunity: Earlier this year, Cloud Foundry announced that they would be combining their annual European and North American summits in 2021 to be held as a global, virtual experience from 21 – 22 July. The organization stressed that the July summit highlights “the community’s mission to make cloud-native software development simpler, faster and more productive.” If you have a session idea that fits into one of the conference tracks, submit by the 21 May deadline.
