FS-ISAC Restructures Events: FS-ISAC announced its lineup of 2024 events. You will notice a few changes, including that the Americas Fall Summit will no longer be branded as FinCyber Today. According to the conference, they recently restructured their event titles and definitions so that members know exactly what to expect from each event. Moving into 2024, Summits will be multi-day events. (FS-ISAC will have two in the US, one in EMEA and one in APAC next year.) They all follow the same agenda format, have similar sponsor offerings, and have a joint theme for the year. FinCyber Today events will only be one day events, regionally focused and smaller in size than Summits. The agenda and sponsorships will vary by region.

OTT Goes To FL: The OTT (Over The Top) Executive Summit has moved from its longtime NYC location to Tampa, Florida for its 10th anniversary. The event, which will be held on 12 & 13 December, brings together the top minds in video content, distribution, and technology to discuss how OTT is enabling new business models for both traditional TV providers and streaming video innovators. According to the conference organizers, there were several reasons for the move: Weather is better in Florida in December; the conference has added a new US Hispanic/LATAM track and Florida was a better fit for that audience; the audience has grown internationally and the European attendees like the proximity to nice beaches and Orlando.

Submission Opportunity: Created in 2022 through a partnership between the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives and HLTH, ViVe (25-28 February 2024; Los Angeles) has grown to attract over 9,000 attendees working in healthcare IT and digital health. Interested speakers can submit now for multiple session formats including panel discussions, presentations, and case studies. While proposals will be accepted as late as 31 October, ViVe recommends submitting early and limits any one organization to putting forth only three executives. Major 2024 themes will include: Care Model Behavior, Coworking with Tech, Mastering Data, Digital Health Investments, and the Policy-Shaped Future.

Lunchtime Learning: Code Conference boasts a longstanding tradition of gathering leaders across tech, politics, policy, and media to uncover and explain how our digital world is changing and changing us. The 2023 program, which wrapped last week, upheld that tradition with conversations from tech’s biggest leaders, including CEOs from AMD, X (formerly Twitter), Warner Music Group, HBO/MAX, and Roblox. A text recap of many of these talks is available to read, and video from some of the most headline-grabbing talks can be viewed here and here.
