Conference News: Conference Board and Axios Seek Sunshine; Car Talk Time; CES & DLD on Deck
Conference Board Previews 2024: Fueled by data from their 2024 C-Suite Challenge Survey, a global canvas of senior executives’ concerns, Conference Board will host the invite-only 2024: A Year in Preview Event from 31 January – 1 February at the Four Seasons in Palm Beach, FL. Within this Chatham House program, speakers and attendees will engage in discussions focused on issues that matter to CEOs in the next twelve months, including the state of the economy, the disruption of artificial intelligence, the global energy transition, geopolitical affairs, the talent challenge, and ESG priorities.
Axios takes BFD to Miami: Axios will bring its “BFD” event to Miami for the first time in 2024. The conference, which convenes top industry leaders to unpack hyper-relevant news and analysis across finance/specific business sectors and with local officials, will be in “the 305” on 13 February. Lunchtime Learning: At the Milken Institute Asia Summit last fall, industry leaders, policymakers, and experts examined globally and regionally pressing topics such as access to capital, advanced digitalization, global inequality, public health, and environmental sustainability. Sessions that were livestreamed for a virtual audience remain available to view online here. The speaker lineup included political leaders from Singapore and the Philippines, CEOs, and even an Academy Award winning actor covering issues such as Investing in Food Systems to Address Climate Change, Fostering a New US-China Nexus, and Regionalization, Re-Globalization & Supply Chain Transformation.
Coming Up Next Week: Each new year, the conference world kicks off another calendar in Las Vegas with CES – one of the largest and best-known global consumer electronics shows. CES 2024 takes place 9-12 January under the tag line “All On,” with an agenda spanning several tracks, including several topical summits co-produced by groups like Digital Hollywood, Parks Associates, Deloitte, The Spoon, and Variety.
