Media Unite for CTV: Media brands AdExchanger, Cynopsis, AdMonsters, and Chief Marketer, will join forces in 2024 to accelerate the connected TV discussion at the inaugural CTV Connect, scheduled for 13-14 March at Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC. The collaboration is designed to offer a “first-of-its-kind” summit that will bring together all the CTV stakeholders, including agencies, brands, publishers, streaming companies, tech platforms, DSPs, SSPs, and measurement providers. CTV Connect promises its delegates the chance to weigh in on the power of digital advertising for the streaming TV world.

Submission Opportunity: The Games for Change Festival will return to NYC on 27 – 28 June under the 2024 theme “The 2030 Marker: A Catalyst for Global Change,” ​inspired by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Sessions will explore “how games and XR are shaping our future in sustainability, accessibility, health, education, and more.” The festival organizers are currently seeking speaker proposals for 20 minute talks, 45 minute panels and 45 minute workshops. If you are a game designer or developer, an educator, or tech innovator with a story to share about “how games break down barriers to connect people across generations and around the globe,” then submit your proposal here before the 5 February deadline.

Lunchtime Learning: Last month Axios House debuted its COP28 Dubai program to unpack the current state of the climate crisis and urgent priorities for government and business leaders. This one-hour program featured the administrator of U.S. FEMA, assistant to the President and White House national climate advisor, and Samoa’s Minister of Natural Resources and Environment.
