Equality Event: The team behind Female Founders Faster Forward (F4) Capital are creating a new conference this spring in order to help business and policy leaders understand how to drive change around key equality issues – especially as bills are introduced in congress but fail to gain traction. The EQUALITY FOR ALL Summit will be at The Hay-Adams in Washington DC on 29 April 2020. Sessions will explore roadblocks to meaningful outcomes and create discussion around four pieces of legislation: the Equality Act; the Fair Employment Protection Act of 2019; The Even Playing Field Act; and the LGBTQ Data Inclusion Act.

The Future, Future of Fintech Conference: Over the past few years, CB Insights has seen great success with their Future of Fintech conference, which invites leaders shaping the future of banking, payments, insurance and wealth management to share insights on the companies and technologies that are creating positive change within the industry. Since the 2019 Future of Fintech was a sold out show the conference organizers have decided to expand the audience from 1,400 to more than 2,000 next year. In order to find a venue that better accommodate this increased attendance, CB Insights has decided to relocate the show from New York to the West Coast. The 2020 conference will take place in the San Francisco from 14- 16 June, where attendees will have access to content on two additional general session stages–one focused on the Future of Insurance and another on the Future of Wealth.

Speaking Opportunity: Over the past 20 years, the CONNECTIONS™ agenda has evolved with the industry. The conference, which will happen in San Francisco from 19 – 21 May will focus on the industry disruptions resulting from broadband adoption, smartphone usage, and consumer expectations for connectivity solutions that provide a personalized experience. The conference is looking for use cases or examples of emerging business models that will “successfully engage consumers and grow revenues in the converging IoT industries.” If you have something to share on stage, submit your idea via the online form by 20 January.

Lunchtime Learning: Big Data LDN (London) hosted its inaugural event in November. It combined a conference and exhibition focusing on how to build dynamic, data-driven enterprises. After two days of engaging talks on real-world case studies, new tools and techniques, and tips on how best to deliver business value from successful data projects, the conference organizers decided to bring the event back again in 2020 (23 – 24 September). In case you missed the first show, you can still access the enterprise case studies, transformation journeys and lively panel debates on the conference YouTube channel.
